Biography

Isabella Chan, MA, PhD, (she/her), is a mixed-methods researcher dedicated to understanding and addressing the public health consequences of social inequalities. She has over 12 years of research and evaluation experience spanning a broad variety of topics, including COVID-19 vaccination education and promotion in the US; innovative approaches to promoting immunization equity in Latin America and the Caribbean; help-seeking decision-making among rural, low-income survivors of gender-based violence in the Peruvian Andes; and the sociocultural adaptation of a chronic disease self-management program for Latines in the US.

As a Senior Methodologist at ETR, Isabella uses her methodological expertise to support the design and implementation of research and evaluation projects, including the California Clean Air Project, Communities Energized for Health, and the Tribal Community Coordinating Center.

Isabella received her MA in Applied Anthropology and her PhD in Public Health from the University of South Florida.
