Biography

Caitlyn Zepeda (she/her/hers) is a Project Coordinator working on the Communities Energized for Health project, which is focused on addressing secondhand smoke exposure. Prior to ETR, she worked as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Butte County Public Health, where she led the coalition, managed a STAKE Act tobacco enforcement grant, and focused on community organizing efforts. She has also worked for Yuba County Health and Human Services where she worked on other health education programs, such as oral health and COVID-19 outreach. While still in college, she worked for a nonprofit organization where she taught nutrition education and vegetable gardening to underserved populations and those receiving SNAP assistance. Caitlyn attended California State University, Chico, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Health Education and her Master's degree in Kinesiology.
